The Village, Episode 078 – Mr Snell’s Portrait #50WordStories

A watercolour portrait of Mr Snell from Bolan Road had been left in the cafe doorway.
Rain had penetrated the wrapping. Mr Snell’s features were melted, descending like stalactites to the bottom edge of the frame.
The cafe hung it anyway.
The rain had made it greater somehow.
More real.
