‘I am the barman,’ said the barman.
‘What does your mother call you?’
‘Son.’
‘And your wife?’
‘I don’t have a wife, and anyway,’ he said, ‘you don’t have a name either.’
He raised an eyebrow. ‘Aye, good point,’ he said.
